Once rice cooked spread the rice in wide plate and let it cool down for 15 min while preparing the rest. While transferring the rice handle with care else rice broke. - Heat ghee in wide pan. Once ghee melted add cinnamon, cardamom, clove, bay leaf and cumin seeds.
- After 10 seconds add sliced onion, saute for 30 seconds. Now add ginger garlic paste. Add pinch of salt and saute until raw smell goes off.
Now add green chilli and saute for 15 seconds. Now add rice and mix it thoroughly. Add remaining ghee and mix. Check the salt level. - Add chopped coriander and roasted cashews. Serve hot with any spicy sides or dal. I served this with dal tadka and spicy chicken masala. Happy tummy...
