- For locha masala [salt + chilli powder]
- 1 tsp chaat Masala
- 1 tsp baking powder
Steps to make to make Surti locho
- Wash chanadal uraddal and rice and soaked overnight. Drain water. Take a 1 mixer jar add all the daals and rice.add salt, ginger and chilli paste, turmeric powder, curd or buttermilk,add 1 cup water and grind it.batter consistency is like dhokla.keep it for fermentation.
- After fermentation add 1tbs oil in batter and mix it well. Put steamer on gas grease oil in plate.add baking soda in batter and mix it well. Pour the batter in plate sprinkle some locha masala over locha and steam it for 2o minutes on full gas.
- Serve hot with oil/butter and locha masala. With green chutney.
- For green chutney: 1 cup coriander leaves, 1/2cup pudina,2 green chilli,1 small ginger, 1/2ts sugar,lemon juice and salt as par taste. 1 tbs ready locho. Mix all in mixer jar and grind it. And make chutney.
